AWAA is an international architecture firm based in Brussels. Their staffing strategy is part of an alternative community that can expand and contract depending on their workload, eliminating any inefficiencies that typically occurs in the traditional architectural office. They work as a “virtual” office and collaborate with international architects, designers, writers, developers, and artists.

PLMD and Face to Face collaborated on the new naming and identity system. By simply using slash and backslash, they came up with a logotype that spells AWAA   / \   \ / \ /   / \   / \

It’s simple, clever, obvious, and can easily be extracted into multiple applications. I like it.
